It is useless to deny that the current wine scene in Sicily revolves around the slopes of Mount Etna. In this apparently extreme habitat, vines such as Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio, Il Carricante, Catarratto, and Grillo are able to express themselves at their best. But there are not only volcanic wines: at the 4 corners of the island of Sicily, we find examples of excellent and historical wines: from Noto to Trapani, from Marsala to the Aeolian islands passing through Pantelleria, the producers of Sicily tell us about the state of the art of island wines.
