Winemaker Notes

Il Casale is a family-run winery in Certaldo, nestled in the hills of Tuscany, where Antonio Romei Rigoli and his family have been cultivating the land with passion since the 1980s. From the very beginning, their philosophy has been clear: organic farming, respect for biodiversity, and wines that are an honest reflection of their terroir.

At around 250 meters above sea level, on clay and limestone soils, their vineyards are dominated by Sangiovese, the grape that has always been the beating heart of this corner of Tuscany. Their Sangiovese is the purest expression of that vision: fermented with indigenous yeasts, aged with patience, and bottled without unnecessary intervention.

What we love about Il Casale is Antonio’s ability to craft wines that feel both ancient and alive—wines with rustic soul and bright energy, wines that speak of earth and family. Each bottle carries the generosity of Tuscany, offering a taste that is direct, vibrant, and utterly genuine.

Story

Musella winery is located near Verona, in San Martino Buon Albergo and it is owned by Pasqua family.

Emilio, Maddalena and Enrico cultivate their vines following the precepts of biodynamic agriculture, paying great attention to respect for the environment with the desire to produce wines faithful to the territory they come from.

For these reasons this harmonious and fresh label is particularly suitable for those who are not looking for a traditional style, but want to taste a rich concentration of aromas and flavors of this area.
