Winemaker Notes

The wines comes from the international grape Chardonnay, with a small percentage of local grape "Fiano Minutolo", planted beside it. The vines were planted 10 years ago at about 380 meters above the sea level. Vinification is done in steel tanks and then the wine rests for 24 months in the bottle, it stays unfiltered.

The Story

The volcanic matrix of the soil combined with constant ventilation, thanks to the winds coming from the nearby Tyrrhenian Sea, and a temperate climate, allow the grapes to express unique characteristics. This wine is fresh, structured and soft, with peachy and fruity notes. Nicola Chiaromonte is one of the most welcoming and hospitable people if you ever get a chance to stay in their agriturismo and see his huge built out cellar. Only 660 cases produced of this sparkling wine.
