Markus Prackwieser of Gump Hof shows us his vertical vineyards and cellar built into the cliff in the Alto Adige. Here a unique Mediterranean Ora wind, along with winds from the Dolomites bring a freshness to the vines which see over 300 days of sun. The vineyard here has an incredible slope of 50-70% and is situated about 400-500 meters above the sea making for beautiful and complex wines.
