Winemaker Notes

Lecinaro vines grows on limestone and clay soil. Vinification follows the dictates of biodynamic agriculture, spontaneous alcoholic and malolacticfermentations with indigenous yeasts, no stabilising, no clarification or filtration.

Wine ages in concrete tanks for 15 months.

The Story

Palazzo Tronconi winery follows the principles of biodynamics both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

All the wines are spontaneously fermented and aged in concrete tanks, amphorae or in oak or acacia wood barrel. The wines do not undergo any chemical or physical treatment: clarification and filtration are banned. Bottling takes place following the phases of the moon.

The vines grown are the result of a work of recovery of the ancient local viticultural heritage: varieties such as Lecinaro, Ulivello nero, Pampanaro, Capolongo and Maturano bianco are endemic to these places.
