Erica and Peter Max Suter, bought the abandoned farm in the 60s and turned it into a rural estate with woods and pastures, which previously was an apple orchard. In 2002, with the friendship of Elisabetta Foradori, it was realized into Ampeleia with a variety of grapes like Cabernet Franc, Alicante, Merlot and others.
